The Nurse Walking Towards Bus Scene

For this scene it will be the last time when the boy sees the Nurse waiting at the bus stop towards the
end. This is my first test, there are developments still need to be made. I want the Nurse to be either looking at her watch or reapplying her making up at the bus stop while she waits for the bus to come.

Close Up Nurse Leg Scene

Me and Brett decided we should add another scene before the close up of the Nurse face. Originally the Boy sees the Nurse for the first time and the camera would cut to a close up of the Nurse face but instead of this idea I thought it would be better if there was a shot of her legs as she appears this scene is suppose to be comical as I have got this idea from the movie called the Naked Gun and below is a video for my reference also for the research.

I have then animated the Nurse legs as she comes in sight. This is my first attempt as a test.

This is my second attempt I have also tried cleaning up for this scene but however parts of the colours still need to coloured in properly.

 

Nurse Notice Board Scene

The first part of the Nurse Notice Board Scene test.  

In this scene i have developed the nurse walking cycle and now she walks quicker and smoother. 

Final notice board scene, for this scene I have added more drawings on the Nurse when she approaches the Notice board and she walks away slowly and shutting the the door behind her. However there are improvements still need to be made so there will be more developments for this Notice Board scene.

This is my Newest Nurse walking cycle test. This is the scene when the boy sees the nurse walking by before she approaches the notice board. 

Kids Running Cycle Test

This is my first attempt of the kids running cycle test. This character running cycle is suppose to look active.

This is my second running cycle test, this character is suppose to be a skater boy and hes excited for his break time.

This is my third running cycle of a fat kid character. I think this character works the best as he is suppose to be slow and also the last one running with the kids.

For these final paintings we thought it would be better if i animated his eyes as well as his mouth and head.

Rhino Teacher Character Angry Facial Expressions Detailed Painting

 I originally painted a detailed painting of the Rhino Teacher Character however in the original painting the Rhino Teacher didn't seem angry enough for the scene so I decided to animate his eyes and repaint his face below are five image sequences showing the changes of the Rhino Teacher Facial expressions. I now think I have improved the Rhino Character as he looks a lot angrier than the first original painting. As well as I think he suits the scene better now.

New Smoke Test

This is my third attempt with the smoke effect, the smoke is coming out from the bus exhaust, I like how I have created each drawing for the smoke i tried to make the smoke effect so it would flow through slowly and eventually it will disappear. However the style of the smoke doesn't seem like it would work with the film so i decided to change the style of the smoke but for now i will develop my research for this scene.

Smoke Effect Animation Test

I have decided to try the smoke effect on Adobe Flash. This is the scene when the kid is waiting in the Nurse room. He then looks out the window and sees her getting on the bus. The bus then drives away leaving a smoke trail. I did some research on tutorials on YouTube showing different ways to create a smoke effect. This is my first attempt of the smoke effect coming from the bus, it is rather simple however I do like how I've made the smoke so it follows the bus when it drives away and leaving the trail of smoke.

As this is my first attempt, improvements are still need to be made so for my next test I will change the smoke colour so it will be a dark grey as well as changing the size or the style of the smoke and my research will be developed during these test.
